Download videos from YouTube

For this weekend trip, I needed to download a few videos to keep my daughter occupied in the car. Videos can easily be downloaded using KeepVid but I wanted to try something new.

With my latest fancy to do everything that is possible using Node.js, I decided to use an open source program called Yoda.

Yoda is a nifty osx application which enables you to browse and download videos from YouTube.
Built using ReactJS & Electron

The download works smooth and the user interface is very straightforward. I love Electron to and it is a rather awesome way to write cross osx compatible desktop applications using Node.js in a very hacker friendly way! Love it!
