Daily Coding - Downloading videos from Youtube - Parenting mis-tip

Let's make this extremely quick again. I've been pretty busy for the last couple of days (coding :) ), and haven't been really doing a good job on the #dailycoding exercises.

So here's again a quick one. I hope to change my schedule and try and make more time for this activity.

But ... good news! :-)

This post is going to change your life.

So let's say you're a parent, want to take his/her daughter to the countryside and you are nervous, and are not very sure about the internet connectivity and not very sure on keeping your daughter engaged through the day (and night) without the aid of technology and YouTube. Believe me, it is going to be pretty darn difficult!

So here's a solution, a very quick way to download the videos off YouTube:

• shortlist the videos
• make an array in a text editor
• copy and paste the URLs into the script
• run the script (you will need you-get)

Its a life saver! Hope this does good and happy vacation. :-)
